Our Mission
It is an obligation for every Muslim to learn to recite the Quran with proper Tajweed. Within a 20-minute drive of the Pearland area, there were no established Quran programs for our community. Al-Fatiha Center was created to fill that gap — providing a dedicated space for Quranic education where brothers and sisters, children and adults, can learn the basics of reading through advanced memorization.
Our Vision
Our Prophet (peace be upon him) taught us: “The best amongst you is the one who learns the Qur'an and teaches it.” (Bukhari)
Our goal is to create a Quran center for the Pearland area and draw closer to Allah through His Book. With the community's support, we hope to grow and offer a full-time Quran memorization program, serving as a beacon of Quranic knowledge for the south Houston community.
Our Journey
Our Beginning
Qari Ahmad Siddique moved to our community with the sole intention of enhancing Quran education in the Pearland area.
First Quran Programs
Quran programs launched and have been running consistently, teaching over 73 students of both genders, ages 6 to 72.
The Community Responds
The community asked for further Quran learning opportunities, inspiring the vision for a dedicated Quran center.
Al-Fatiha Center Opens
Alhamdulillah, construction completed at 3695 Kirby Dr, Suite 109, Pearland — a dedicated space for Quranic education and community gathering.
